User Guide
Editing Players and Cards
When entering actions (after choosing the hero position), click any player at the table to open the player edit dialog. You can:
- Change the player's label or name
- Select hole cards to make them visible before the showdown
- Change the player's stack size
If you select hole cards before the showdown, those cards will be visible from the start of the hand in the replay. This is useful when you want viewers to understand the action from a specific player's perspective.
Entering Actions
During action entry, the interface shows the current game state with player positions, stack sizes, and bet amounts. Select an action (Fold, Call, or Raise) for each player in turn.
Fixing Mistakes Efficiently
If you entered an incorrect action, use your device's back button to return to the action you want to correct. Once you're back at that step, enter the correct action and continue as normal.
If you need to change structural elements of the hand—such as blinds, stack sizes, or the number of players—it is usually faster to recreate the hand from scratch. Hole cards, player labels, and stack sizes can be updated at any time using the player edit dialog.
Handling Complex Hands (Multiway Pots, All-Ins, Side Pots)
For multiway pots, all-ins, and scenarios with uneven stack sizes:
- Enter actions in the exact order they occurred
- The replayer automatically creates side pots
- Different all-in amounts are handled automatically
- Pot logic and chip movements are calculated based on the action sequence
If a player is all-in for less than the current bet, enter the all-in amount; the system will handle the rest.
Working With Incomplete Information
When reconstructing hands from memory or partial information:
- Stack sizes and bet amounts can be approximate, as long as the action flow is logically consistent
- Unknown hole cards can be left blank and filled in later
- The replayer tolerates missing information as long as the betting sequence makes sense
This allows you to create accurate replays even when not every detail is known.
Organizing Hands with Collections and Filters
Collections
Collections let you group your saved hands by any theme you like — for example, big bluffs, study hands, or a specific session. To create one, open the Collections page from the chip row on the Hands page (the pencil icon at the end of the row), enter a name, and click Create. You can rename or delete a collection at any time from the same page.
To add a hand to one or more collections, open the replay and click the plus button in the top right, then select the collections you want. A hand can belong to several collections at once, so the same replay can appear in both a "Hero hands" and a "Tough spots" group without being duplicated.
On the Hands page, the chip row above the list lets you switch views: tap All to see every hand, or tap a collection name to see only the hands inside it. Collections are private to your account.
Filters
Filters narrow the list of hands further and can be combined with a selected collection. Click the Filters button at the top right of the Hands page to open the filter panel. You can filter by:
- Game variant (NLH, PLO, or PLO-5)
- Hero's starting card ranks (up to six ranks from 2 through A)
- Minimum or maximum number of players at the table
- Minimum or maximum blind size
- Minimum or maximum final pot size
Active filters appear as chips below the collection row. Click the × on a chip to remove that single filter, or reopen the panel to adjust several at once. The number next to the Filters button shows how many filters are currently active.
Sharing Hand Replays
Link Sharing
Use the share button in the top right of the replay page to open the share menu. This allows quick sharing to apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Discord, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and many others. If the app is not listed, click More to open your device's native share menu and select any messaging app supported by your device.
Embedding Replays
You can embed any replay on your website or blog. Open the embed page and paste the hand link. The page generates a ready-to-copy iframe snippet and lets you configure:
- Width and height of the iframe
- Whether the four-color deck is used inside the embed
- Whether the hand title is shown above the replayer
The four-color deck and title visibility are passed to the replayer as URL query parameters (fourColorDeck and showTitle), so they only affect the embed without changing the original hand.
Alternatively, link directly to the replay page.
Increasing Visibility and Engagement
To make your shared hands more effective on social platforms:
- Use a clear, descriptive title
- Use player labels to describe players
- Reveal hole cards earlier when it enhances the narrative
